Sometimes a project isn't just a lift and shift. Sometimes you need your heavy machinery /equipment transported across the country to a new location or storage facility.

HIABS

We supply HIAB’s for many of our projects. A HIAB crane or HIAB lorry is used to transport the plant to and from the site and then load and unload the plant at site. The most significant advantage of a HIAB lorry is that it can lift the load from the vehicle without further assistance from other lifting equipment.
We have a modern fleet of HIAB transport available for our clients with a lifting capacity of up to 9 tonnes and a load capacity of up to 12 tonnes. All vehicles are provided with our expert drivers to ensure any load is delivered safely and on time. Our HIABs can quickly get to site for any project in London and the South East of England.
HIAB stands for ‘Hydrauliska Industri AB’ and is the name of the Finnish company that invented and exported them to the UK in the 1960s. Other names for HIABs is loader cranes, vehicle-mounted cranes, lorry loaders.

Specialist Transport

Working with our specialist transport partners, we can provide all types of vehicles for the movement of standard and abnormal loads.

As with all our transportation equipment, we can utilise the flat-bed trucks as part of a site-wide logistics package or in isolation, whatever the project requires.

Flat Bed Trucks

With our transportation partners we can provide fully compliant Crossrail and Network Rail vehicles. All vehicles and operators/drivers are FORS compliant.

Piggy Back Forklift

Piggyback forklifts provide an alternative method of delivery when cranes and HIABs are not an option.

As always, fully qualified operatives drive the forklift allowing us to offer various sizes depending on the weight and dimensions of the item of the plant being offloaded.
